In Hyannis, near the Cape Cod Mall, Sam Diego's has been serving delicious, family-friendly Mexican fare since 1981. In warm weather, sit outside on their patio.

Also near the Cape Cod Mall, the Tikiport has been serving reliable Chinese food since 1979.

For affordable Italian food, try DiParma on Route 28 in West Yarmouth. All you can eat salad (free) and hot rolls right out of the oven!
Northern Italian cuisine in a more upscale atmosphere is found at Alberto's on Main Street in downtown Hyannis. Park out back in the free municipal lot off of North Street.

Heritage Museums & Gardens - 100 acres of gardens and museums, including an antique Coney Island Carousel for the kids inside its own building and one of the best collections of antique cars in the USA. A great place to visit, rain or shine. See their website for a schedule of special events, including outdoor concerts. Prime attraction: thousands of rhododendrons in bloom late May/ early June! Plan a visit then just to walk among these colorful gems! This is the second-largest collection in the world!

Sandwich Glass Museum - world famous Sandwich Glass. Watch it being blown! 129 Main St.

The Glass Studio on Cape Cod - Watch Michael Magyar blow glass and shop for gifts for friends and yourself. Ask about their "beach balls"!

Take the kids to explore the exhibits at the Thornton Burgess Museum and Greenbriar Nature Center where they can visit with Peter Rabbit himself!

Cape Cod Canal - a scenic spot for walking, biking, fishing or jogging. Watch ocean-going ships sail by right before your eyes! Be sure to tour the Canal Visitors Center and learn about the history of the Canal, the largest sea-level canal in the world.

Cape Cod National Seashore - National Seashore Park, established by President Kennedy, with beaches counted among the ten best in the world. Hiking trails through varied habitats. Excellent surfing. Note the cool water temps - often just in the upper 50s during the summer. Stop into the Visitors' Center on Rt. 6 in Eastham for brochures.
